Flour By The Pallet

High quality flour is expensive! Grocery store prices and warehouse delivery fees are prohibitive for most small scale bakeries and home bakers. We figured out a hack! We order bread flour by the PALLET (50, 50lb bags) and you come pick up as many as you can use. You buy them at cost from us - usually LESS than $1/lb. You pay what we pay. No service fee.

LOcally Grown wheat

Jon Eck and his family are doing something special! They are local farmers bringing heritage wheat back to the Central Valley. Over 100 years ago wheat was the main crop being grown in Turlock and surrounding farm towns. Over the decades wheat has given way to dairies, fruit, nuts, and other commodity crops. Eck Farms is making it possible to do something truly unique - make bread with locally grown grain! Let’s support their grain venture by purchasing their grain together.

Eck farms is going to make their whole grains available in 50lb bags and 1lb bags. They also plan to mill limited quantities into flour for purchase in 1lb bags.* Grain and flour will be available for pick up at Mission Bakehouse and pop-up bakery locations like Savor Charcuterie.

* Eck Farms grain and wheat prices TBD
